Hello,
I'm interested in a couple of "M2" programs in Paris, I have a 4-year bachelor's in a very mathematical degree, so... Do I have to take the "M1" master first? Or I can enter directly to the M2 program, If so, Is it adviced to take the M1 anyways?.
Thanks.

Is Actuarial Science, at UNAM in México, (top3 from Latin America), I took several courses (with heavy formal proofing) like Stochastic Processes, Derivatives, Options Valuation, so topics like filtrations, Ito's lemma, girsanov' theorem, intro to stochastic diff equations and stochastic integration, interest rate models, etc are not a problem at all.

so here is the thing, if you have written a small dissertation it will probably help you a lot.
the issue is the french system is a bit weird, and as you may know their bachelors degree is only 3 years, and they consider their M1 as a 1yr masters, and the M2 as a 2nd year masters.
They see 4 years bachelors equivalent to their 3 years bachelors, so you will only be competitive if you have excellent grades. You will need letters of recommendations, and dissertations to your name.
