Hi All,
I would like to seek for your advice.
I have seen some posts mention that taking some preparation course such as calculus will increase the chance to be admitted by MFE programme.

And I have found these two preparatory courses from online and the other one is the Certification in C++ from Baruch College.
I am wondering that the online course offered by University of Carlifonia or the on site course offered by Nanyang Technological University will be more useful for my application of MFE programme?
On the other hand, Do you all think the C++ in certifications from Baruch College and from University of Carlifonia are comparable?
Besides that, I am going to futher studying for PhD. I am considering to take these preparatory courses part time during my first or second years or the final two years.
Is the date of receiving these certificate under consideration by admission committee?
eg. Since GRE will not valid after 5 years. If the certificate of these preparatory courses was received 3 or 4 years ago, will they think that it is not effective anymore?
