Can anyone advice on MSFE admission preferably test for the below:-
a) EST Major Field Test (MFT) for mathematics, and
b) EST GRE subject test for mathematics.
The differences between the two is:-
MFT is weighted a more balance subject coverage: 30% for Calculus I & II, 30% for algebra I & II & abstract algebra, and 40% for ODE,Real analysis, Complex analysis, Probability & Statistics, Discrete maths.
GRE subject test placed heavy concentration on calculus at 50%, algebra 25% and the rest 25%.
Please advice.
