MFin is a one year program with high tuition. It seems placement records are decent of this program.
MSOR is a 1.5 years program with not low tuition. The location is in NYC. But it seems nobody knows the placement of this program, which is what I am worried about.

I hope to get some suggestions. Thank you.

Columbia MSOR is 1 year program which can be possibly extended to 1.5 year.

These programs are not a golden ticket to 6-figure jobs anymore.
How about comparing what you actually are taught in each program? And how that will make you marketable as well as relevant in years to come?

I think MIT placement is better. At the very least I remember MIT disclosing placement stats at some point... and that is ultimately the measure of these programs. Meanwhile MSOR is the oft-maligned Columbian cash cow. So I would go with MIT in your shoes. If nothing else, at least you won't be going to the third-best quant program in your university...

Yeah, I think that's really what matters.

There is 2012 employment report of MIT. I think maybe you are right.
