Hello everyone

I have a phone interview with Morgan Stanley for Strats and Modeling. If any you have recently interviewed with them, can you share your experience? I am not asking for specific questions but just want a general idea of what to expect.

Thank You

FT or internship, analyst or associate?

I interviewed with two different teams in strats and modeling there and had very different experiences. I guess if you're trying to look for a similarity though, it didn't feel as structured as say, Goldman or JP Morgan. MS was more random. It might indicate lack of preparation or interest in the interviewing process. The Goldman and JP guys seemed to have prepared stuff and were fine with time going over.

It is a crap shoot. They have no formal process and probably forced some junior-ish guy that morning (or a couple days early) to do it.

I had an interview for their exotics team recently; PhD in Physics here. I don't know stochastic calculus, so it was a total dealbreaker.
