Hi,
I need help on how I can achieve what I want or if it's even possible.
I am a Romanian applicant with US citizenship, i'll be finishing my 3 year undergrad degree in finance-banking next summer.
I would like to get a master's degree in Financial engineering, computational finance or analytic finance.
My ideal careers would be as a: Quant,Financial analyst, something related to high-frequency trading(algorithmic trading?) or consulting.
Other careers that I would be satisfied with: Finance division of a government agency i.e FBI,CIA or Banking Cyber Security. <-- I know these 2 careers are somewhat unrelated with financial engineering, but who knows.
I would like to know how I can qualify myself for top graduate programs since I don't have any internships, work experience. As for academics I could say that I have met the math prerequisites in high school(part of the school curriculum) and I've done statistics and econometrics in the first 2 years of college.
I'm just really worried,I could say that I have forgotten quite a bit of the math since high school but I can try and self study it again since I have plenty of books and manuals to which I can study from.
Thank you for your time.
