Hy all,
I am currently finishing my french master degree of applied mathematics finance oriented with 2.1 expected. I am in one of the french universities well known for financial mathematics but it's actually quite hard to have a high GPA...let's say I am ranked 40-45/120
I worked twice in Quant Research during a summer internship in an US Funds of Funds
I don't really want to spend 3 years in a Phd... I am already 23..
I am considering applying to one Msc but i don't really know which one because all are saying to have high GPA but having a GPA of 4.0 in a low level university and having 4.0 in a top level research university it's not quite the same..Do you have any ideas?
My main objective is to work in hedge fund quant oriented as a in its prop trading and to do that starting a bit by a quant job or trading in an IB. What do you think about this strategy?
