Not sure if anyone here caught an article on NYT the other day. It's a story about a guy who runs an online website selling eyeglasses. He found out that the more customers complained about his business, the higher his website shows up in Google searches, which generates more sales and led him to be more abusive to his clients.
It's a truly thrilling story. When Google caught wind of the story, they quickly have a team make a new algorithmic changes to their search engine.
