Hello there. I'm interested in enrolling in the Pre-MFE Baruch courses for the Jan 2015 session and I know 3 are offered: advanced calculus, probability, and linear algebra.
I'll likely be taking all 3 courses eventually but I was wondering in which order would you most recommend, assuming I take one a semester ? In terms of background, I was a finance major undergrad, but I've taken calculus 1/2, and statistics (non-probability based), and discrete math so i'm quite light on the math background at the moment. I've also taken a number of cs courses (algorithms, data structures, etc) so I think any programming component should be ok.
Also, is it not recommended to take more than one a semester ?
Any responses would be much appreciated. Thanks!
