How can one go about justifying switching majors in their Personal Essay?

Why do you have to justify it? Just explain the reasons behind you wanting to move into finance. Be honest because the people reading these essays have seen it all.

No limit, but two pages is the usual length. Of course, it depends on line spacing, font size, and so on.

Thank you Dr. Stefanica. When you say "two pages is the usual length", what font, font size and line spacing are you referring to? My guess is size 12 in times new roman with a line spacing of 2, right?

Correct, but if you have more (or less) to say, there is no set limit to the size of the essay.

Is there a limit to the size of resume? I beleive it can be 1-2 pages long.

one page resume is best. two pages is recommended only if you have extensive work experience.

I have a few related publications. Should I list all of them or just mention the number?

list them, including the journals.
