I have a PhD in Electrical Engineering from a no-name school from Europe. I am looking for quant jobs in London. Would getting an Msc in Fin. Math. from one of the schools in London help me?

I am currently doing a postdoc. I have good math background (linear algebra, probability theory, measure theory, stochastic calculus) and some programming experience. (As I understand the required programming skills are quite high and my impression is that what we do in academy would be considered as kind of toy example.)
