princeton LOR deadline

I see that here there is a thread "application tracker" where some Princeton MFin applicants have made entries. My question is related to recommendation letters. The MFin website says that completed application incl all rec letters must be received by 1 dec. However, in the same paragraph it says that "if your application is incomplete, we''ll contact you". Also, princeton's grad app website says that "all recs must be recived within 2 weeks of deadline" - in this case by 15th dec.

In brief a) MFin's website is ambiguous about whether 1 dec is a hard deadline for all recs, b) grad admin website corroborates that ambiguity.

I am worried I will possibly not be able to get rec letters by 1 dec. Do I have any options here; will a request to delay rec letters be perceived negatively by admin committee?
Help is very appreciated...
