The Chairman of the PRMIA Board, Mr Geoff Kates, announced today that Mr Steve Lindo has decided to step down as Executive Director with immediate effect. Geoff emphasized that the Board wishes Steve well in his future endeavours and will honour his decision. Steve has agreed to serve as a special advisor to the Board to ensure a smooth transition. Geoff further added that he is confident, despite this development, that PRMIA will continue running its operations smoothly, given the on-going efforts by the volunteer members in the various organising committees.
Geoff and Bob Mark, Vice Chairman, have been tasked by the Board to develop an appropriate strategy for sustaining PRMIA's volunteer-driven global mission to strengthen and professionalize risk management. In the immediate future, Ms. Jodi Lundell will assume responsibility for the daily operations of PRMIA. The Board has further asked Mr David Koenig, PRMIA's former Executive Director, to act as Senior Consultant to the Board. As Geoff said, "David has a wealth of experience from running PRMIA during his years at the helm and is a perfect fit to advise both the Board and the staff during this transition".
