Hi, I'm an Economics Undergad from India. I was wondering what my chances are like for admission into MFE programs in USA.
Undergrad- Bachelor of Science in Economics(w/ Statistics and Mathematics) from University of Calcutta
Lots of quantitative courses including Econometrics, Mathematical economics and Statistical Economics.
Statistics courses include multiple-linear regression mathematics courses include advanced calculus, operations research and numerical analysis.
The main disadvantage of the course is it's duration- 3 Years, which isn't accepted by all colleges in USA.
Work Experience- 1 internship in Corporate Finance Division of one of India's biggest Companies as a Summer Intern (Research and financial analysis of competitors' quarterly performance and other Economy related stuff)
GRE Score- 340/340
Number of positions in college organizing events, editing departmental magazine, etc.
Self trained in C++, Java (Studied formally till 12th grade)
CFA Level II Candidate
What sort of colleges should I be looking at?
