Profile Evaluation-Math UG -> Non Quant -> MFE -> Quant

Hi,

I am an American currently working in Investment banking ( M&A ) and I was wondering if it was reasonable for me to attend a top MFE program in order to try and transition too Quant Trading/ or as a desk quant in structured products as I am interested in staying in finance but would like to do more quantitative work as it is what I enjoy and what interests me the most.

How have you done on the Baruch certificates?
I'm a little confused as to why you're asking on here after taking those, if you performed well in those then you can perform fairly well in a top MFE. That's what they are designed to prep you for, after all.

It would also be easier to tell how you stack up in admission by just asking the professors for those pre-mfe courses than it is by asking most people on this forum.

You check all the boxes, if you can get into a program you'll do fine. Not sure how to evaluate career prospects, but you've got the necessary requirements to start on the path.
