Hi all,
I am trying to decide what programs I should apply to and what program I am likely to be admitted to.
Background:
I am 25 with a masters degree in operations research with a 3.8 GPA from a European university and I have been working for one year. I also have strong programming skills with a nice C++ personal project on github. I have passed the level 2 of CFA program. I will pass the GRE next month.
I want to enroll in a program that will give me some flexibility to work in a quant role or trad finance buy side job (with the help of the CFA), and from looking at the curriculums of different programs I think the MIT MFin and the Berkley MFE kind of match this description.
Questions:
1- What programs are likely to give me this flexibility?
2- What programs I am likely to be admitted to?
2- should I mention/emphasize my github project in my application?
