I received a few request from the media recently asking to interview Quantnet members about the recent financial crisis. The latest one is from a Japanese TV network. Please see below and contact directly if you can help.

Hi. I am a producer for NHK, Japan's public broadcast network. I am working on a TV news documentary about the financial meltdown from the pespective of quants. We are seeking to interview young quants (those who entered the workforce sometime between the late 1990's and present). We would like to hear their perspective on what happened. It can be someone who is currently employed with a financial firm or someone who was laid off recently. If the individual doesn't feel comfortable doing a TV interview, (or doesn't want their employer to find out) we can disguise their face and not use their name. The documentary will air in Japan only, on NHK, Asia's largest TV network. Please circulate this request to your members. We are hoping to do the interview in the next few weeks. I can be reached at (646) 541 - 2137 or at roninreporter@hotmail.com or at 105323.3674@compuserve.com.
Thank you. Regards,
Heather Harlan, Producer, NHK NY Bureau.
