What You'll Do:
  • Optimize trading models for speed and efficiency using techniques like parallel processing and caching.
  • Build scalable solutions to handle massive datasets and adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Develop automated data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficient delivery.
  • Craft specialized data features tailored to the unique characteristics of each commodity market.
  • Collaborate with traders on research projects and the development of innovative trading tools.
  • Contribute to the development of market simulation tools for advanced scenario analysis.
Who You Are:
  • A highly skilled Quantitative Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within a trading desk or technology firm.
  • A problem-solver with a strong foundation in computer science (Bachelor's degree) and ideally a Master's degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Python, with advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and core Python concepts.
  • A mathematical and statistical expert with a solid understanding of multivariate time series analysis, regression analysis, state space models, Kalman filters, and network analysis techniques.
  • Intellectually curious with an innate desire to understand how things work, both at a micro and macro level.
  • A strong communicator and team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • Driven to excel and consistently exceed expectations, as demonstrated by graduating in the top 5% of your class.
TC Range: $400-$500k+
