For the x^x^x^x... = 2 problem

 

A really simple ay to do it is to realize that since I is an infinitely recurring sequence

 

you can go x^(x^x.......) = 2

 

but (x^x.......) = 2

 

so x^2 = 2

 

so x = sqrt(2)
