Questions about some concepts about options

Hi folks,

While I am writing my PS, I mention some "technical concepts" in my essay. However, I am not sure if I am saying the right thing. Although I have did some research, I still want to ask for some helps!

1. the presence of options trading could ease the volatility of the stock market
2. derivative pricing models and stochastic calculus are the important theories for learning option pricing
