Hi all,
I am an aspirant for pursuing a post graduation degree in Financial Engineering.
I am a computer science and engineering graduate coming from an information security risk management work background (with security product implementation/integration role and no much relevant work experience in software development/coding) and due to my strong interest in finance , markets ,securities and mathematics, I want to pursue my post graduation degree in Financial Engineering where I can get an opportunity to put my mathematical skills into use for solving financial problems.
I will be very happy and grateful if someone can kindly share their thoughts about my future prospects in this field and if you would suggest me to go ahead with pursuing a Master in Financial Engineering degree even though I come from an Information security risk management work background?
Please share your thoughts on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Muks
