Hello everyone,

I got admits from -

Rutgers (rutgers.edu/masters-quantitative-finance)
University of Maryland (rhsmith.umd.edu/programs/business-masters/academics/quantitative-finance)
Simon Fraser University (beedie.sfu.ca/programs/graduate/msc-finance)
University of Rochester (simon.rochester.edu/programs/full-time-ms-in-finance)

Which overall program and university should be given preference in your opinion and for what reasons? I am mostly confused between Rutgers and Maryland. I have to deposit the non refundable deposit in 2-3 days. It would be a great help if I could get some advice.

Rutger's is the most known program from that list, so that is something to consider. Although, Rutgers MQF is through there business department. If you are interested in a rigorous math education, I would not go there.

My preference is towards a finance program offered by a reputed business school.
It is not a requirement for me that a program should be maths intensive.
