Hello Everyone,

I am an undergraduate student of economics from a non-target university coming out with a 3.5.
I have 1.5 years of internship experience in a back office role at an asset management company.
I'm interested in a pursuing an FE program, but I have not taken the necessary foundations in mathematics. Would it be best for me to take only these foundation courses or invest an additional three years into pursuing a second major in mathematics while I work full-time? I'm currently 21 years old.

All responses are greatly appreciated!

Rather than spending 3 years on another math degree, I suggest you take necessary pre-reqs from a university of acceptable standing. You could enroll for these courses, try finishing them in a year and then apply for MFE. You could take these courses while working full-time and that would save you time, money while also giving you some relevant WE.
