I am new to quant and I have been considering different school for MFE and in this process I am trying to gather information about the program.

I was just curious as to what skills a student learns by being part of Baruch MFE and how good do you consider yourself at that skill after going through the course work? Does the program prepare the student enough to claim those skills in the interview and be able to defend it as well?

Skills I am talking about here are: C++, VBA, SQL, Python, Matlab, SAS, etc.

We emphasize on C++ programming skills. I would say 80% C++, 15% VBA, 5% R or SAS.
