Traditional finance (IB) is very picky on where you studied. Most people come from the big 6 UK 'targets'.
I recently choose the LSE (studying Maths with Data Science) over Warwick (Maths).
I understand the reputation of the LSE for maths is much less renowned than Warwick, primarily as the LSE is very applied (not much pure, NO mechanics) - will this negatively effect my chances of obtaining an interview, or is the process generally more meritocratic?
