So....what do you wear to an on-campus interview?

I am going to visit UCB in May and tour the campus, sit in on a class (Derivative class), and meet with the admission staff.

I'm curious with what I should wear.

I currently work at an investment bank ( BNY Mellon) and the attire is pretty informal. Would nice jeans + nice shirt + nice watch suffice? or should I follow the old adage of "being overdressed is better then under-dressed"?

Okay. I guess I'll do a black suite with white shirt, or a brown suite with grey shirt.
This way I can take the jacket off .

The other question I have is this....

I use a desktop for work and Windows tablet for class. Is this still acceptable or should I invest in a more rigorous portable devise?

No black or brown, do dark charcoal suit & white or blue shirt. Keep it classy...

I'm curious. Did you wear the same informal attire to your interview for BNY Mellon?
