I actually downloaded a VC2010 express version from here

http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express

 

It probably doesn't have all the function.

 

But will that be reliable enough to work with all levels in the course?

 

I have found myself a window OS, on a very old and slow laptop. Is this Okay?

There certain reasons that I don't want to parallel my Mac at the moment, maybe do that later at convience.
