I have got acceptances from Stevens Institute of Technology's Master of Financial Engineering and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's MS in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics. I have received a generous fellowship from Stevens but no financial support from Rensselaer.
Which school is better to pursue a career as a quant?
Which school has better job prospects and strong name recognition?

Background: I am a computer science graduate with work experience in data analytics and algorithmic trading.

Just looking at the Quantnet Ranking, I believe Stevens looks a bit better.... Better placement, tuition, and class size.

Not yet decided. But Steven is closer to newyork it has an advantage over Rensselaer.

Even I got admit from Stevens with scholarship ..seems like does have an edge over rensselaer purely because of the location..and even the rankings ofc.
