This may have been answered before on the site, so I apologize for my redundancy in that case.

I'm looking to build a "screener" - something simple - that will go out and download all available equity securities from the US markets, and include things like P/E, Price to Book, beta, etc.

With Yahoo Finance, you have to manually enter in the symbols, and I think it may limit you to how many you can download at one time.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

You can use a script to loop through all the tickers and download them to your Excel. Just google for those scripts.
