does anyone has any insight as to whether this would be a decent program or not? i know it cant possible compare to the top schools but i have limited options for my post-undergrad education and just am trying to get some more info.. also, is there a huge difference for going for a masters in financial engineering as opposed to a masters in mathematical finance? like do they both prepare you for the same quant jobs?

Why do you have limited options??? You are a paying customer where ever you go..

man, no one? really?

Your best chance is to talk to someone currently studying there. Try LinkedIn.
There is not much info about Temple available.
Financial engineering is also known as mathematical finance, financial mathematics, quantitative finance, computational finance. All variations basically point to the same discipline. You will have to look at the description of each course in each program to compare.
