I am in sophomore year of college. I major in Applied Math and minor in Computer Science. I know the summer is coming in no time. But I have not paid attention to find an relevant quant internship early on. Is there still a chance that I can land some internships? I know the deadlines for big firms are way passed. How about small firms or startups? Does anyone have any recommendation on where and how I should start my search?
In terms of experience, I have zero experience in quant finance. I have only taken classes such as calculus 1-3, probability, ODE, linear algebra and only MatLab in programming. Any input will be appreciated.

At a big bank very little chance since their rotations and internships end in December. Try going for financial software companies, rating agencies, and maybe even government agencies looking for unpaid interns.

Finance experience is rarely required for such internships since they understand you are "starting out".
