I thought it would be nice to interact with my future classmates and created a facebook group for the UIUC MSFE 2015 (Fall 2014 Intake). Those who are interested please join the group

Class of 2015 = Those who graduate in 2015... So basically intake of Fall 2014. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Let me edit the original post!

Well, as a Chinese student, I don't have smooth access to Facebook and I'd like to join that group later~~ hah~

But I do know a lot Chinese students in this program and we formed a chatting group on WeChat and QQ(Maybe you don't use that often)~~ But all discussions are in Chinese currently~~

If you would like to make acquaintances with the Chinese earlier than orientations, I'd be happy to introduce you to the group~~

Hey Guys~~ It's great to meet you all! When I mentioned this threads to the Chinese students in this group, they were very excited and are going here to make acquaintances~~ We can expect more people coming here now~~

However, in terms of chatting group, I feel sorry that we Chinese students may not have smooth access many popular tools you guys are using. For example, Facebook, Gplus, Twitter or so... So forming a group on these tools may not be very realistic for us~~
On the other hand, most of the students are using WeChat currently and I assume that there is an English version now~ If you guys choose to join, I'd be happy to include you to the group. (After you joined it, please me by searching "danirlruc91" or "1429098659" )

There are also other alternatives~~ Recently there is an e-mail from our assistant director, saying that there is going to be discussion forums in the next couple of weeks~~ I'm also looking forward to that~~
