UCB MFE Waitlist with guarantee

Hi all,

I recently received a waitlist for Spring 2022 with guaranteed admission for Spring 2023 from UCB MFE program. One thing I am confused about is that there is an "MFE interview" item to be cleared in the checklist, even though I have been interviewed before. Does anyone know whether the performance of this interview will affect the guarantee status for Spring 2023? Is there any possibility that the guarantee offer will be revoked due to unsatisfactory interview performance?

I honestly think the interview will be just to gauge your experiences and preparation over the past year. Since they've given the guarantee of admission for 2023,they'll only revoke it if you just wile away your time and not do anything productive - which is clearly not the case.
In any case, it'd be best to email the admissions team about it just to confirm. But I have an inkling that they'll tell you something similar.
 
I was on the guarantee list and given an offer. My experience is that you should finish all conditions and do not have too bad performance for the second interview. I've heard someone did not receive an offer with the same status due to poor performance in the second interview, so get prepared.
