Well I won't be doing that again anytime soon!

Yesterday I was running late to music lessons. I decided to take the streets rather then the highway to avoid potential traffic. Lo and behold there was traffic on the streets! So I turned on 1010AM and the radio announced "the space shuttle will be going under the Marine Parkway Bridge in 6 minutes." I started thinking; "hey so am I!" I turned to my right and right beside me was the space shuttle. I was on the street right off the water.

So the race was on. If the shuttle go to the bridge before me I would have to wait for it to open and close which would make me late enough that I would have to miss my students and have to cancel my first class. So I floored it. And I won :D

Probably the only time in my life that I am going to race a space shuttle... and win

If you look really closely at the bridge you can see me in my Ferrari zooming off the bridge just before the shuttle goes under. I had my hands in the air and was letting out a celebratory war cry.
