What exchanges or brokers allow the individual algo trader to connect through FIX?

I would like to find out what exchanges and/or brokers allow me to connect to trade electronically for a reasonable fee, without requiring $100k deposit or something absurd like that.

I would like to connect through FIX or through whatever protocol they provide to trade electronically.

For example:

Is it possible to connect to Nasdaq or to CME without having millions of dollars? I don't think so. But I might be missing a shortcut.

How about Forex exchanges?

for futures: typically all futures exchanges lets you do it.
for stocks: you cant get away with the 50k daytrading deposit.

10K min balance for opening an account should be attainable for retail traders.

Thanks, Keith. Are you sure CME (futures) allows an individual trader to connect and trade through FIX? And Nasdaq (stocks)? 50k, although kind of high for an individual trader, might be attainable...

50k is daytrade account margin only, not infra fees. your broker will set it up for u.
