What is the "typical" career path and salary potential for people who are about five years out of a top MFE program?

From my personal experience, here are the type of jobs people I am studying/ have studied with have landed:
Risk management (Most common)
Sales, trading and structuring
Treasuries
Asset management
Operations and back office
Starting salary for the first three is very similar, between 70k-80k (Canada)
I assume salaries diverge as time and experience increases.
This is by no means a ''Top'' MFE program, but it still has a very good reputation in the city I am from. As a consequence, all the main banks of the country hire from it for various business lines.
I assume a top program could add some major hedge funds and HFT positions, though I know of one person who landed a HFT job following my program at one of the main banks.
