Hey guys, so I've completed my btech in cse from India with 9.2 cgpa and will write cfa l1 this november.
There are 2 choices with which I am very much struggling to decide
1) should I work in india for 1 or 2 years
2) should I go abroad for my masters.

And if i decide to work here then what job roles should I be targeting such that it'll show relevant experience on my resume for pursuing the masters.

And if I decide to go for masters then which masters would be more beneficial?? msc in data science , quant, mfin or mfe???

please any professional or anyone with similar situation help me

Sounds like you target a buy-side job in an asset management firm or the like. These are very competitive to get into.
Getting some work experience before joining a master program will be beneficial. It makes your profile stronger for top program. That said it will take lot of relevant experience to get in that role.
I hope this gives you some rough idea to start planning.

Hey andy, thanks for the reply. But which entry level roles should I be targeting if u dont mind me asking? I'm seeing a lot of analyst or research jobs like equity research, securities and derivatives analyst etc. Which one should I go for, such that it would be relevant if I pursue masters in future.

There is no standard path to get there. I think the best way is to use LinkedIn to find profiles with this job type and look at their education and employment to get an idea.
Also, look for job listing to see what education and job experience they require. The employers dictate what qualifications they seek.
