C++ Programming for Financial Engineering

I think this is a wonderful course, and it provides me with many useful C++ skills. It certainly meets my goal.

The course is very good and helpful, and I really learnt a lot from it.

I have taken several programming courses before. Have to say this course is really of high quality. My previous programming courses helped me a lot during this course, so I think it might be a little challenging for a starter. But it is worth it since if you finish the course, it means that you have some solid experience on C++ Programming right now.

C++ Programming for Financial Engineering is of high quality and provides an enjoyable and encouraging learning experience. As an undergraduate who majors in actuarial science and plans to enter into the financial engineering field, I find this course perfectly meets my original goal to enhance my programming ability as well as cultivate my insight to think like a programmer. Thanks to the well-designed course videos&notes provided by Prof. Duffy and warm-hearted TAs like APalley and GONG CHEN who offered help throughout the course, I am familiar with programming design patterns like OOP and GP as well as the essential use of STL and Boost library now. Also, I get a bird-eye view of how to implement C++ into option pricing which is really beneficial for my future academic and professional career.

The course design is delicate and the contents are comprehensive. So finishing the course give me enough exposure to the understanding of C++ for quant applications. I think it should help my further development.

The course is absolute wonderful in teaching basic C++ and it is really friendly for rookies. It definately meet my original goal and has given me much more confidence tackling quantitative problems by programming.

The course is fantastic for a C++ starter because it contains a lot of exercises and application cases in the quantitative finance. My original goal was achieved and I'm wondering if the topic related to quant finance might not be restricted to option pricing.

The course is awesome. Before the course, even though I had some programming experience, I have no systematic understanding of each components in a program. And this program really helps me understand programming deeper and show me many useful use cases.
