When I evaluate a course, the two things I think about are baseline and the route to learn more. I will further articulate what I mean.. First, I hope to get a solid foundation so that when the time comes, I have the tools to reach out to topics outside the scope of the course and utilize the skills learned in the course to tackle said new problems. That is exactly how I feel about this course. I was able to develop a solid baseline that will set me up for being able to take my learning one step further in the journey of programming. Secondly, when I look at any good course, I can see how much I learned, but even better, I realize how much I do not know, but I now know the route I need to take to learn more. Which combined with the solid baseline previously mentioned makes this course worth every dollar, and all the more reason to take the advanced course as well, because that seems like a pretty clear route to me. I said all of this without mentioning Dr. Duffy, Avi Palley, Andy Nyguen, and Gong Chen. It would be disservice to not mention the combined efforts of all of them who along with past TA's have really made a great course, with a brilliant course forum to go along with it. Thank you to you all and I will be back in roughly 3 weeks to continue learning.
