An internship in the financial area can definitely help. Also I would recommend taking 1-2 finance/econ classes and maybe take cfa level 1 if those classes do not fit in your schedule. make sure you get good recommendation letters.

For me, trading is attractive because of risk and uncertainty, and the excitement they brings along. whether you are a prop or flow trader, I believe quant skills can be quite helpful especially if you can trade on your own models that fit you

I think you have a lot of options. You can go straight into investment banking, sales & trading, or equity research. Pretty much as long as you have good grades and is active at networking, you can get into a bank after undergraduate.

UCLA is the most expensive out the three since I have a scholarship from Boston. However I like UCLA the most purely for its faculty members.
