I am a sophomore computer science major student in South Korea. My university is top 30 in South Korea which means is not considered as prestigious in both domestically and internationally. I have a option to transfer to top 3 university in upcoming January. If I ever get accepted, maintaining high GPA would be almost impossible. But I would be able to pass CFA level 1 if I kept attend current university.

My GPA is 3.9/4.0. Operating system is only course that I got B+.

Took calculus 1, advanced calculus 2, Linear Algebra 1 ,2, probability and statistics, c programming, object-oriented programming.

Courses that are planning to take Differential Equation, analysis 1 , 2 , Numerical Analysis, mathematical statistics 1,2 .

Can you give any advice to course to take ?

I have been trading stock for 5 years. My strategy is based on investing low valued stock as warren buffet does. My average annual return is 25%. Also I have programmed auto trading based on moving average and multiple technical indicators by using API on currency trading. Test result is not profitable for all time frame. It need more quantitative method to optimize which I am currently lacking.

Thank you

Which option would you recommend for applying to UCB, columbia, NYU, Baruch, and cornell?
1)3.9/4.0 + level 1 CFA from not a prestigious college in Korea
2)3.7/4.0 from prestigious college in Korea
3)transfer to Baruch or Gatech in math and graduated with summa cum laude plus passing CFA level 1.

Try to think of school admission as a job application to a major bank. Would Goldman Sachs take a 3.9 from NoName University + 1 CFA exam or a 3.7 from Harvard?
