Hi All,
I am currently working on my applications to top quant programs. When I sent out recommendation requests, I clicked on "do not waive" the right to see those rec letters. I did not really want to read my letters I just thought it was not a big deal. From other threads, I now know that in U.S, it's almost a convention that people waive right to recommendation letters. I am pretty sure I have pretty strong recommendations (one from a professor that really knows me well, one from my research supervisor, and one from my internship supervisor). I am very worried that my recommendation letters would be considered to be less objective since I did not waive the right. Could someone tell if this will be a big issue?
Thanks in advance!
