Well, I´ve got to this doubt while giving a thought on which University I´d like to enroll, supposing I pass to more then one.
I´m going to apply to a few MFE programs for the 2013 term, but I´ve noticed that some programs starts in January (spring term) and some (most of them) in July-September (summer-fall term).
As is the case for NYU-Poly, for instance, their program starts by the end of January, when you probably won´t have the chance to get the results from other programs.
The issue:
Consider I apply to NYU-Poly and to Baruch, for instance, and get admited to NYU-Poly. By the time i have to decide whether or not to take the offer from Poly, I wouldn´t have the results from my application to Baruch.
Not wanting to make a point between these programs, but what if I get admitted to Poly, and accept it, and afterwards I get admitted to Baruch? (again, I don´t want to make a point in between these programs) If I decide to go ahead and take the offer from Baruch what would be the implications? I mean, when you accept an offer, what are the common financial obligations related to it? What would you do if you´d like to enroll in the other program?
