Hi everyone,
i'm Italian, I've a masters degree in Banking Science, and since i would like to work in quantitative finance (portfolio manager or trader) I'm thinking of applying to a quantitative finance programme in English.
I've seen that there are plenty of this programme in Europe with very different fees and course programme.
I saw an interesting course at the university of Glasgow, with a reasonable fee (about 10000 £). I'm a bit concerned that this is not a well known university, and that it can be a waste of money and time.
Do you have some advice? Could you suggest to me an interesting course in quantitative finance in Europe?
Finally, i would ask another thing, do you think is better to go for a quantitative finance programme, or do the CFA?
Thank you for your time.
