Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and just wanted to get your opinions on the best electives based the options below. I'm doing a Mathematics & Economics program from LSE external. I need to chose 4 from the 6. My choices are 2,3,5,6. But just wanted to get a few other opinions.

Ideally I would like to move on to do an MFE after undergrad, but am also taking actuary exams as a back up.

1. Game Theory
2. Real Analysis
3. Mathematics of Finance & Valuation
4. Optimisation Theory
5. Advanced Stats: Distribution Theory
6. Advanced Stats: Statistical Inference

Thanks everyone

Thanks for the reply Andy,

Also forgot to include another option - Advanced Mathematical Analysis.

I wonder if it would be wise to include Advanced Mathematical Analysis instead of Mathematics of Finance and Valuation. (I'll be sitting the FM actuary exam next year which should cover Fin Math anyway).

Cheers,
