Hello all

I would be really grateful if someone could specify what sort of SKILL SET is required for a quant type job AND

What are the major alternatives to an MFE especially ones concerned with Business/Economics/Finance and Maths/science/technology as I am primarily interested in knowing about qualifications (Business and Science/Technology/Engineering related ) which could be used for a quant career as an option ALSO

Actuaries have their set of exams, and self study is the general rule, SO

Is it possible to do the same with computational finance and FINALLY

EXACTLY which Areas are required to be covered in Maths, Statistics and
Computing along with some finance

Your questions are too general. Look around some of the forums here, and you'll find variations of your questions addressed.
