Am I equipped for an MFE as an 18 y/o Junior?

Hello all I just wanted to know if my plan of getting into a top MFE program is on the right track?

Major in Economics with Focus on Business Analytics at a non target university. (UCF)
Minor in Mathematics
Going to take CourseEra Santa Cuz UC course on programming within the next few weeks
Will take Quant Net C++ course within the next year
Been Day trading for 4+ years now

Looking to apply for these programs for Spring 2027 or Fall 2027 enrollment.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I posted here around a month ago, and have since put together a plan for the next year in order to bolster my application, as well as fill most of the quantitative holes from my undergrad degree. Any feedback/suggestions would be much appreciated!

I graduated in 2021 with a BBA in Economics/Finance from Baruch College. My GPA was not good (~3.00), but I’ve since gained 3.5 years of experience in industry. It's not all that you should do. Read books and master key concepts before you even apply. Become really good coder. Masters interview skills and key areas. Many resources online to get these done.
Anything you do, there are thousands of people out there doing way more and ready to take your job. This career path is one of the most competitive, not considering professional sports.
