Any job relative to securitization?

I'm a Chinese student and I'm gonna summit application to some of the MFE programs this fall. Though I'm not sure whether I can get enrolled into the programs, I do want to take a look at the quantitative jobs in US and their qualification in advance.

Now I'm quite interested in securitization, since I find out that there are huge potential need in this area in China. It'll be great to seize these opportunities, so the idea of tring to find a relevant job and learn from the expertise in this area just comes to my mind. I guess I want some basic knowledge about these jobs at first, or simply to figure out where I can get information about it and try to search it myself.

1) What companies are engaged in securitization business? What're the names of specific positions running these business?

2) Capabilities required for these jobs?

3) Are most of these jobs gone because of the crisis? Any significant changes in this sort of business before and after the crisis?

Articles and books summarizing the general development of securitization in US are what I extremely want right now.

Any advice?

There's a ton of material out there that you can find through Google. You need to review that and come back here with specific questions.
