Any starting/beginner material for Financial Engineering?

Hello everyone. I am 20 years old, currently studying Business Administration and want to get involved in Financial Engineering. It has been my dream since I was younger. I have 6 years of experience in computer programming and I am damn good at it. At the moment I am learning C++.

I need someone involved in the field of Financial Engineering to provide me with some starting material(book suggestions), directions or anything that may help me learn the ropes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
