Hello All,
I am Sandeep(23 years old) from India. I graduated in 2014 in Electrical and Electronics engineering(4 years degree) . Currently working as a software analyst for a reputed MNC(Total work exp - 2 yrs). My daily work includes developing web services based on .net technology.
I want to apply for MS in Aug 2017 (fall). I have pretty bad grades in math courses:
Math 1 - C(6 points out of 10)
Math 2 - B(8 points out of 10)
Math 3 - C(6 points out of 10)
Probability and Statistics - B- (7 points out of 10)
Total graduation cgpa - 6.51/10
I know my grades are pretty bad and I need a way to compensate them. As of now I am looking at these two options :
1. Good score in GRE Math Subject test
2. CFA Level 1
Are these two options worth it? What else do I need to do to reduce bad effect of my math grades on my application?
As I don't have a relevant work exp, how should I convince the admission office ?
This is my first post. Apologies in advance if I didn't follow proper etiquette of this forum.
